Ride.

Michael has done very well with the whole no-training-wheels thing this summer (I think the Hot Wheels helmet and pads helped). Instead of just riding in (endless) circles in the street, now I've got him riding a path around the house (the HumV track) n anticipation of next summer's Maine Junior Bike League, which is a youth mountain biking league.
