He must have ESP

We received our automated call from the school superintendent on Tuesday night, removing all doubt that school would indeed be cancelled on Wednesday. Michael usually has to leave for school at 7:15 in the morning, and so he sets his alarm for 6:15. Mind you, the kid is awake and up before 6 on his own, but he loves organization and making lists and setting alarms, hence the two alarm clocks next to his bed.

With no school the next day, we had a brief conversation regarding the alarm, which fully illustrates just how in tune he is with what we're thinking:

Michael: So what time should I set my alarm for? 6:45?

Joe: (incredulously) No.

M: Okay....7?

J: No, 8 at least.

M: Exactly what I was thinking.
