Here's how the conversation went down this morning over breakfast:

Joe: I was thinking that since you guys have been so good lately, that we'd let you skip school today.

Michael & Enzo: *gasp* Woo hoo! (continued cheering with eyes wide and faces lit up)

Joe: April Fools! Ha ha!

(The cheering abruptly stops, as their faces droop in disbelief, then disappointment.)

*pause*

Michael: (dejectedly) That's not even funny.
