Storyland!

Being the great parents that we are, we held Michael out of the first two days of school so we could go to Storyland with the Meeveses. Hey, that's what they get for starting school before Labor Day. Plus, Michael has all the book learnin' that he needs. Anyway, there were lots of rides - rides in teacups, rides in swans, rides in shoes - lots of treats, and more screaming kids than you can shake a stick at. The kids had a great time at the park, as well as at the hotel, where they had three pools. Of course, staying in one pool isn't enough when you're 8, 4 or 2, so the kids would swim in one pool for about 30 seconds, then run to the next pool and stay there for 30 seconds, and so on.

Fun was had, rides were ridden, treats were eaten, tears were shed, and then it was time to return home, and back to the book learnin'.
